Every spring, the village of Petalbrook holds its beloved Festival of First Bloom, where the townsfolk plant dream-seeds that bloom into sweet dreams. But this year the dreams have turned sour — children wake in tears, and the village's beloved Dreamweaver, an elderly woman named Old Marigold, has vanished along with the sacred Dreaming Hearth. The heroes must investigate why the dreams have curdled, find Old Marigold, and restore the sweetness of spring before the festival is ruined.
